What is Praja Palana Telangana Schemes?

In the manifesto, the Congress government has promised 6 schemes: Mahalakshmi Scheme, Rythu Bharosa, Yiva Vikasam, Indiramma Indlu, Gruha Jyothi and Cheutha.

Rythu Bharosa Scheme is for farmers who have land and do farming and will get Rs. 15000 per year and Rs. 12000 for farm labourers, the workers who are working on the farmlands of others. 

Indiramma Indlu Scheme

In Indira Gandhi’s name, this scheme was brought by the Congress government; in this scheme, people with low incomes will get a House, or a person has land, or the government will help them by giving them money to build a house. In this scheme, a martyr’s family and a person or family who participated in the Telangana movement can benefit from the Indiramma Indlu Scheme.

Gruha Jyothi Scheme

In Telangana during the BRS, the government has offered free water without any bill. The Congress government announced that soon they will offer free current up to 200 units for poor people only. While filling out the Praja Palana application, an applicant has to tick the box whether they want the Gruha Jyothi scheme or not. 

Cheyutha Scheme

In Cheyutha Scheme, a monthly pension is provided for the disabled person from Rs. 4000 to Rs. 6000.
